Since summer is only a few months away ...Mermaids came to my mind. I love to paint them and I
have sold many in last year . They'll make a good design for a light tee shirt. This images remind me of those wooden ships of the past . When the wind and sails drove those ship to all corners of the globe. The sailors would fantasize meeting beautiful women in the open seas. Women were considered bad luck on the ship . A woman who came out of the sea and met them on the shore or while they were in the water was not a unlucky omen.

In this image you can see a beautiful fairy girl with butterflies, stars , and flowers all around her.

I used college paper for the hands, and fairy wings for the original mixed media painting.

One of my favorite spiritual teacher ..Mr.R.Waldo Emerson had a very important message here.

Its similar to ..".When the student is ready ..the master ( teacher ) appears ".

As experience passes in our life we change ..We think differently . We see things ..in a new angle.

" People only see what they are prepared to see".....good deep quote.

The drawing I did of the aliens was made separate of the Emerson quote. I found the quote ,and
matched them together.

I've seen many UFO programs on the History channel .

On night as I was driving in my convertible Buick ..I saw a shining light fly high over head very

fast . No air craft motor noise ..at all . That's all I've seen of any UFO in all my years ..

Arch Angel St. Michael ...
One of my Original art painting now in a digital reproduction Note card set .

St Michael was the leader of Gods angels in that celestial battle between Good & Evil.

Lucifer the Angel of light was Gods favorite..even above Michael. Lucifer was so perfect , that he became to believe he was superior to God his creator. He and his followers declared war on Gods Heaven.

Michael and the faithful Angels fought and defeated Lucifer ( evil dragon )..driving the evil ones to the pits of Hell. Their wings were burnt into leather skin , so they could never fly up to Heaven again .

Michael is the most [powerful of all Angels. He became the guardian and protector of Heaven & Earth. Policemen, soldiers, mariners and person who seek protection from injury or attack wear Michaels amulets...

I am going to write about myself ..just so you know where I've been, and how I became an artist ..

I was born in the beautiful carribean island of Puerto Rico.

The bright tropical colors , the bright sun ,the white beaches ,the teal color of the ocean, the flower rain forest mountains , and my cheerful native people made me love the bright happy colors of the tropics. My family moved to Madrid ( I was a young girl ) where my interest bloomed to the classical european architecture's and its famous art museums.I visited them many times to see master paintings..

The whole city and its way of life impressed me deeply in my young age .

We moved again ( in my teens ) to upstate New York. That's when I started to paint ( reading art books I learned to draw and paint ) and sell my pieces to the local folks . I did cartoon posters for special occasions . I had my home based business set up ,while living with my parents.

I later return to my Puerto Rico .I found very few places to work in the art field ,and the local interest was more into native hand made art tourist products. I stopped painting for many years as I had to raise a son , and involve myself in a government career . After many years I left my Government job ,and went into business for myself.

After several setbacks I left and moved to Orlando Fl. Here I started to paint again and I discovered the Internet .

I started to paint and sell ,and have made the full circle in my life. After so many years I have returned to my younger years in up state New York. ..a home based art business...

Now I am fully happy with what I am doing.
